A comprehensive strategy to treat widespread environmental degradation in an important watershed of Karnataka State, India. Design of several NBS carefully distributed along the riverbank to treat the perennial Arkavathi River flow from West Bangalore. Unique elements include passive storm flow protection, continuous treatment under gravity-powered conditions, and natural integration of the treatment systems into the existing riverbank.
